Priory Water 17th June 2007

Three more new species for the year were recorded today, Common Darter, Brown Hawker, and most importantly a single immature male Small Red-Eyed Damselfly,
hopefully proving that last years breeding on the reserve after the initial colonisation was a success!

Species recorded on the reserve so far this year are;

Four-Spotted Chaser
Broad-bodied Chaser
Black-Tailed Skimmer
Emperor Dragonfly
Brown Hawker
Common Darter

Small Red-Eyed Damselfly
Red-Eyed Damselfly
Common Blue Damselfly
Azure Damselfly
Variable Damselfly
Blue-Tailed Damselfly
White-Legged Damselfly
Emerald Damselfly
Large Red Damselfly
Banded Demoiselle
